about Us

As students from the Bay Area, we witness first-hand the disparities in educational resources in our communities. When we first started InternNet, we aimed to make a change in the Bay Area, but as we partnered with other organizations and learned about their experiences, we realized that these same disparities affecting our peers were also affecting students from across the world. In hopes of bridging this gap, we launched three global initiatives: free information on real-life skills, free tutoring for low-income students, and free workshops on a variety of topics. All of our services are free of charge, as we want to make our resources as accessible as possible. Ultimately, we strive to create a community of students from all socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds to form long-lasting connections that will benefit the world.

But what makes us unique compared to other tutoring programs? The simple answer: a cohesive experience. Essentially, we help students with academic foundations from K-8, higher level education with APs, standardized testing, and internships from 9-12, ultimately leading to a full college application season walk through with experienced college student mentors. Along with that, we offer group classes to learn in a collaborative setting, and workshops/webinars to learn about things like attending US universities as an international student, job seeking skills, and other important skills/electives.
